Fan Controllers

PC3A – Manual Power Controller

The PC3A power controller provides an economical method of producing a variable a.c. voltage suitable for the control of fan speed, dimming of tungsten bulbs or heater element output power. A single control knob varies the output from 0 to 100% and has an “Off” position. An internal preset allows adjustment of fan idle speed when applicable.

APC4

The APC 4 is a low cost, simple to operate fan speed or variable heater triac controller. It uses a remote sensor to monitor house temperature and two adjustment knobs on the front panel to set the required temperature and minimum fan speed. An override switch is provided to enable the fan/heater to manually operate at full power. A movable link is located on the circuit board to select either cooling or heating modes. The set temperature range is from 15 to 40 °C and the maximum load current is 4 Amps (enough to control a 630mm fan).

MPC 4u Microcomputer Power Controller

This microcomputer based controller is rated at (230V 12A maximum). It has an integral UNICON MICRO which all features are described at the top of the page. This unit is employed to operate fans or heating controls, it has a manual override switch incorporated to operate your fan at full speed.

(1) if you wish to control your fan at full speed for most of the day it can save the life of your controller
(2) if the electronics should fail it is still possible to create air movement.

Micro Master

This microcomputer based controller precisely controls the environment temperature by controlling the speed of ventilating fans while the ambient temperature is above a digitally set value or switching on suitable heaters when the temperature falls below the set value. All parameters are simply set by user friendly touch buttons i.e. Set temperature (0-40°C), Minimum fan speed (10% – 100% max speed), Heater offset temperature (+5°C) and Auto Freshen Times (0-10mins) Two output relays to operate heaters or boost fans. Special feature is Auto-Freshen that prevents stale air build up.Digital output drives “Whaler” MPC 15 Power controller, but maybe incorporated in a larger metal box to control a number of individually protected fans.
